Tyreek Hill gave his most detailed public account yet of his knee rehabilitation this week.
The free-agent wide receiver posted a workout video titled Cheetah, Reborn on Wednesday, July 22, filmed roughly 10 months after the injury.
In it, he runs on turf, works out on a basketball court and trains in a pool. “So it’s about 10 months after doing two surgeries,” Hill says. “My left leg is the one that I injured. I have no power in my left leg, so I’m trying to regain all the power back in my left leg.”
“I ain’t going to tell you what my timeline is, but the timeline looks real good right now, man,” he said, according to ESPN’s report. He also said doctors “told me I might not be able to walk again,” before adding, “now look at me. God is good.”
Hill, 32, dislocated his left knee and tore his ACL along with multiple other ligaments in Week 4 of the 2025 season, on Sept. 29 against the New York Jets. He has undergone two surgeries since, NBC Sports’ ProFootballTalk reported.
Miami released the eight-time Pro Bowler on Feb. 16, making him a free agent for the first time in his 10-year career, according to NFL. As of late July 2026, he remains unsigned and has not put a date on his return.
The reaction from inside the league was supportive. Patrick Mahomes, his quarterback in Kansas City from 2016 through 2021, commented “Keep going brotha!” on the Instagram version of the post, and Travis Kelce replied with cheetah and fire emojis, as EssentiallySports reported.
