Brittany Mahomes is celebrating her husband Patrick Mahomes‘ latest win on the football field — and throwing some shade at another team.

On Sunday, October 4, the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Las Vegas Raiders 30-27. However, the Raiders led by three points going into halftime, and the team’s head coach, Klint Kubiak, spoke to CBS reporter Tracy Wolfson on the field during halftime.

“Not good enough, gotta be better,” Kubiak, 39, said when discussing rush yards, per a clip posted on X. “But you know what? We’re winning. We’re gonna win the game.”

After the game, Brittany, 31 — who shares daughters Sterling, 5, and Golden, 20 months, and son Bronze, 3, with Patrick, 31 — posted an Instagram carousel on Monday, October 5, filled with game-day photos of herself. She wore a snakeskin jacket with matching snakeskin jeans, a white tank top, and pointed-toe pumps, keeping her blonde locks down.

In the caption, the mom of three seemingly took a swipe at Kubiak, writing, “‘We’re winning. We’re gonna win the game.’ 🤭.”

Fans took to the comment section loving the caption.

“BRITTTTTTTT came with receiptsssssss 😂,” one joked.

“I KNEW his comment was gonna backfire and was waiting 🍿😂😂,” a second insisted.

“The caption understood the assignment 😂👏🏻,” a third applauded.

CBS analyst J.J. Watt reflected on Kubiak’s bold comments noting, “It felt like one of those moments for a young coach where he almost didn’t know what he was saying in the moment, but he was that confident,” per USA Today.

“Think that maybe that’s who he is when he’s in that locker room. He’s a very tight-lipped guy for the most part. I think you might have said that he let it slip,” Watt, 37, added. “He let the real personality slip.”

The Chiefs’ standing is currently 4-0, and the Raiders are now 3-1.
