Rob Gronkowski Plays Coy About Potential Engagement to Longtime Girlfriend Camille Kostek
Are wedding bells in the future for Rob Gronkowski and longtime partner Camille Kostek?
The former NFL tight end, 37, was put on the spot during a Thursday, September 24, appearance on Today With Jenna and Sheinelle, when asked by guest host Justin Sylvester about marriage plans.
“You’ve been together for 13 years. Have you gone to Jared yet?” Sylvester, 39, broached, referring to the commercial jewelry store. “Are you ring shopping?”
“Not Jared, but that’s a good choice. I got nothing bad to say, but it’s a specialty place if it were to happen,” Gronk responded. “You can’t put me on the spot.”
The Super Bowl champion — who officially retired from the NFL in 2022 — met Kostek, 34, in 2013 while playing for the New England Patriots. The model was in her rookie season on the team’s cheer squad. After years of keeping their relationship private, the pair went public with their romance during a Patriots Thanksgiving event in 2015.
“If he were to get down on one knee, I’d be excited,” the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition model told Us Weekly in 2022. “He’s my best friend. I would spend the rest of my life with him.”
She later was reminded by Gronk’s mother that “everyone has their own journey” and timeline.
“This is a reminder to self and a reminder to others that we are not meant to follow the same journey,” Kostek told People in May. “There is not a book of life. There is not a right way to live and a wrong way to live. Just letting go and giving yourself that grace. What’s meant for me will never pass me by is such a beautiful feeling and such a beautiful reminder that I always have to bring back to myself.”
